QUETTA A Station House Officer (SHO) and two police constables sustained injuries in two different hand grenade attacks in provincial capital and Nushki district on Tuesday night. Police said unidentified armed motorcyclists hurled a hand grenade on a police mobile van which was on a routine patrolling at Pandarani Street of Sabzal Road. As a result, SHO Sariab Jamil Marri and constables Noor Ahmed and Ghulam Dastagir received wounds. They were shifted to Civil Hospital for treatment. In another similar incident, house of a settler attacked with a grenade in District Nushki, some 140 kilometres in the west of provincial capital. Unknown attackers lobbed a grenade on the house, owned by Dr Kamal in Nushki town near Government Girls High School. Hand grenade exploded and shattered windowpanes of the house and other nearby buildings. However, no loss of life was reported in the blast.
