Former federal information minister Qamar Zaman Kaira criticised both the government and the PTI, saying they were heading toward a blind alley.

“Imran Khan is frustrated and the government is arrogant,” he said at his office while talking to the media here on Monday. He said that the government wanted Imran Khan to kneel down and apologise while Imran wants to disrupt everything. In the fight, democracy is the real victim,” he said.

Accompanied by ex-Punjab minister Tanveer Ashraf Kaira, he added that no productive negotiations had so far taken place between the two parties. He said that the government should start negotiations with the PTI. He suggested that Imran Khan should not take wrong decisions rather resolve the issue through negotiations.
