LAHORE  - Sabzazar police on Monday claimed to have smashed a gang of robbers by arresting its two members involved in street crimes in Lahore.

A police spokesperson said that the police also recovered looted valuables including Rs 50,000, five mobile phone, one motorcycles, and two pistols from their possession. The arrested bandits were identified as Altaf Hussain alias Tasu, and Abdul Majid.

A police team headed by SHO Sabzazar Atif Zulfikar arrested the bandits during a special crackdown launched against the elements involved in street crimes in the provincial metropolis.
