BARCELONA (Spain) (AFP) The Virgin Racing teams drivers Timo Glock and Lucas di Grassi were on Saturday handed five place grid penalties for failing to notify the race organisers about their intended gear ratios for the Spanish Grand Prix. All teams in Formula One are supposed to inform the ruling body, the International Motoring Federation (FIA), of all their technical data in advance of Grand Prix weekends. As a result, the German and the Brazilian were handed penalties as outlined in a statement issued on Saturday morning at the Circuit de Catalunya.
