ISLAMABAD (PR): UK entrepreneurs of Pakistani origin have shown keen interest in joint collaboration with Pakistan, especially in alternate energy sector along with technology transfer. We consider Pakistan a potential country for investment in alternate energy, pharmaceutical, textile and other sectors and can help the two countries to improve bilateral trade through private sectors participation. This was observed by Mr. Razi Khan, President, UK Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry during his visit to Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

While welcoming the delegation, Shaban Khalid, President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry said relations with the United Kingdom is a cornerstone of Pakistan’s foreign and trade policy, especially considering there is a large Pakistani origin community in all spheres of life in the UK, including some very successful and prominent personalities.

However, there is a need to take concrete steps to enhance diversified partnerships between the two countries.
