VEHARI - Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) senior leader and former Minister for religious affairs, Syed Khurshid Shah has said that case against former President Gen (r) Pervez Musharraf will leave far-reaching effects on the national politics.

He was talking to media persons after his meeting with PPP nominated candidate for NA-167 Colonel (r) Rao Abid Khan here in Burewala a on Tuesday.

Khurshid Shah ruled out what “he called rumours” regarding differences between President Asif Ali Zardari and his son PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

He termed all such rumours regarding rift between President Zardari and Bilawal as baseless and negative propaganda unleashed by anti-democratic elements to defame the PPP and discourage party activists.

The PPP stalwart said that his party would not tolerate any hurdle in the holding of free and transparent general elections and conspiracies in this regard would be dealt with accordingly.
