TARBELA GHAZI - A 26-year-old girl was killed over marriage dispute in village Kotehra Ghazi in the jurisdiction of police station Ghazi.

Police registered FIR against two accused persons on the application of her father but the accused were still at large.

According to the details, Muhammad Ahsan, resident of Mohalla Landi Moodi village Kotehra of tehsil Ghazi while registering an FIR with police station Ghazi told that he was sleeping in his house along with other family members when he heard firing and he came outside to know the matter.

He saw Aksar, son of Muhammad Aslam of his village along with another unknown person outside his house who ran away, he added.

Muhammad Ahsan told police that when he came back to the residence and went to the room of his daughter, he found her lying in a pool of blood.

Police registered a case against Aksar, son Muhammad Aslam and one unknown person under section 302 PPC and started search for the accused. The dead body of the girl was handed over to her family for burial after fulfilling medico-legal formalities.

According to police a 30 bore pistol was used for killing the girl.

It was further learnt that Aksar had earlier abducted the girl in 2013 and a case was already under trial in the court of Additional Session Judge Ghazi whereas family of the accused was pressurizing the family of murdered girl for withdrawing the case.
