SIALKOT-Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) AJK President Barrister Sultan Mehmood asked the Pakistani government to ensure early opening of the Sialkot-Jammu route to facilitate the people of Azad Kashmir and Indian-Held Kashmir.

He was talking to newsmen at Sialkot Press Club. He said that early opening of the Sialkot-Jammu route would also be helpful in boosting the bilateral trade between Sialkot and Kashmir.

Sultan Mehmood also vowed to continue PTI’s nation-wide move to oust the corrupt rulers from power with the support from the masses. They said that there was no more place for the corrupt rulers to plunder the national wealth by leaps and bounds.

He said that the PTI’s Accountability Rally was getting much popularity and it would be result-oriented and cause the ouster of corrupt rulers from the power. He demanded accountability of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif after the international issue of Panama Leaks. He said that the PTI would never let the Sharifs escape from the accountability.

He strongly condemned the ghastly Quetta suicidal bomb attack. He has asked Pakistan to take up the burning Kashmir Issue more effectively at all the international forums. He asked the international community to use its full influence for globally pressuring India to halt the mounting atrocities in Occupant Kashmir. He also urged the Pakistan government to adopt a clear and solid policy regarding the Kashmir dispute with India.

He said that the oppressed Kashmiri people were writing the golden chapter in the history of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir by sacrificing their lives to get freedom from Indian yoke. He said peaceful solution to the Kashmir dispute has now become vital for establishing peace in this region. He said that Kashmir dispute has also become flash point between two nuclear neighbours Pakistan and India.

On the occasion, former AJK prime minister Sardar Attique Khan urged all the political parties in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan to come forward and shun their political differences for further strengthening the Kashmir Cause. He said that it was the high times for all the political parties to show their unity for the peaceful solution to the burning issue of Kashmir.

He added that the world should also wake up now to stop the 26 years long terrorism by Occupant Indian army in Held Kashmir. He said Indian terrorism had also made the Indo-Pak Subcontinent, Gulf states, Middle East and even the entire South Asia unsafe. World should take urgent notice of the brutal Indian terrorism.

He also expressed grave concern over the rising human rights violations, custodial killings and genocide of the innocent Kashmiri people by the Occupant Indian Army in the Held Valley. He said that these nasty practices were enough to shake the conscience of the international community.

He said that there was a massive rigging in the recently held AJK general elections, adding that PTI has also formulated “fact-finding committee” to collect evidence of the rigging.
