KASUR-The district police organised a walk to raise awareness among the masses, especially the youth and their parents regarding dangers of doing wheelies here the other day.

The rally started from Baba Shah Kamal Chowk and after passing through Shafiwala Chowk, its participants reached at Government Girls Degree College Road where they dispersed.

Addressing the participants, DPO Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi threw light on the harms of doing wheelies and reiterated the pledge to take stern action against the wheelie doers, saying that those who play with the lives of others do not deserve any leniency.

The DPO also appealed to the parents to refrain their children from doing wheelies as the deadly game is not only a threat to others’ lives but also can make their children disabled for the rest of life. Mr Rizvi also distributed pamphlets to the vendors, motorcyclists and hawkers on the harms of one-wheeling.

The participants and citizens, belonging to all walks of life, praised the Kasur police steps against one-wheeling and pledged to assist the police in discouraging wheelies doers in the district.

B-Division Police SHO Malik Tariq Mehmood, Inspector Ashfaq Hussain Kazmi, Anjuman-e-Tajran office bearers including Haji Akram Mughal, Muhammad Asif, Bao Saleem and citizens in a large number attended the walk.
