ISLAMABAD: Former minister Firdous Ashiq Awan has strongly criticized the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and termed the NAB action a political victimization against her political career.

She stated this while addressing a press conference at the National Press Club here on Friday.

She said that NAB allegations against her of misusing powers are totally wrong. She demanded that NAB should submit the proofs of her corruption in the same forum where it submitted its detailed report recently.

Responding to a question, she requested the Supreme Court (SC) to issue order for a thorough investigation of the matter and added that she was totally clean of that sort of charges.

Answering another question, the former minister said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) is her home and she is striving hard along with other party workers to eliminate the corrupt people from it.

She urged the high-ups of her party to forgive one sided love with ruling party Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMl-N) and highlight real issues of the masses.
