LAHORE - The Lahore High Court on Monday took measures to eradicate corruption at district courts level and issued directives in a letter to the district & sessions judges throughout the province in this regard. The LHC took the notice following the complaints against corruption being practised by staff of the establishment of the district courts. It is the time to deal with the corrupt officials sternly, the CJ said in the letter, warning them of a prompt disciplinary proceedings if found involved in corruption. The letter said the disciplinary proceedings will be initiated against the corrupt officials without delay with a date fixed for completion of the inquiry. It further said that the D&SJs /senior civil judges will be responsible to ensure the completion.
