LAHORE A crucial meeting of PML-Ns Central Executive Committee (CEC) scheduled be held at Islamabad on Tuesday (today) will discuss the political situation after the PPP and PML-Q coalition partnership and fallout of US unilateral operation against Osama bin Laden. As per sources, the meeting, to be chaired by PML-N Quaid Mian Nawaz Sharif, would review the emergence of the political alliances and present political situation, ever-worsening crisis, especially the Osama episode, and would dilate upon the future political agenda. Earlier, talking to newsmen after condoling with former nazim Mian Aamir Mehmood on the death of his mother, Nawaz Sharif has said the countrys sovereignty has been violated after the US operation in Abbottabad to kill al-Qaeda chief Osama Bin Laden. The PML-N leader said Pakistan was passing through a critical phase. He said the unilateral operation by US special forces to kill Osama was a major attack on Pakistans sovereignty. If action is not taken to stop such incidents in future, Pakistan will face more dangers and risks, he added. He said situation in the country would deteriorate further if the US continued interfering Pakistan. The PML-N chief said release of US national Raymond Davis who killed two Pakistani citizens in Lahore and US operation in Abbottabad were attacks on security and autonomy of the country. He said current circumstances of the country had depressed the whole nation. He urged the nation to join hands to resolve the issues faced by the country. Nawaz was speaking to the media for the first time since he returned to the country the other day after a prolonged stay in London, where he was convalescing after heart surgery.
