OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE - Punjab University administration has termed the press release issued by the Islami Jamiat Tulba regarding holding of book fair jointly with the administration as baseless. The administration made it clear that there was no agreement and involvement of any student organization in book fair issue and the statement of IJT was fictitious. Like previous years, the Punjab University administration, itself, is organizing book fair with the help faculty members and students. A draw was also held here on Monday after the administration received a number of applications for booking of stalls and the same were allotted to the applicants. Youth Orchid: The students of Punjab University College of Art & Design have participated in Youth Orchid 20 Eleven of Iefrians Debating Society organized by NFC Institute of Engineering & Fertilizer Research Faisalabad, and won first positions in three categories. Fahad Mushtaq in Calligraphy, a team comprising Bilas Ahmed Qureshi, Shehryar Ahmed Khan and Abdul Rehman in T-Shirt Designing, while Bilas Ahmed Qureshi and Sheheryar Ahmed Khan in Fashion Flair, clinched first positions, respectively. Aghi Programme: The students of Pak Foundation School Ghoray Shah on Aghi Programme on Monday visited Aiwan-e-Karkunan Tehrik-e-Pakistan and saw Pakistan Movement Gallery. A ceremony was organised to inform the students about Pakistan Ideology which was addressed by the schoolteacher Ms Najma. Meanwhile, Nazria Pakistan Trusts Mobile Ideological Unit 1, 2 and 3 led by their coordinators Prof Saeed Shaikh, Abdus Salam and Nadeem Raza visited Syed Public Rah-e-Danish Girls High School Nadirabad, Government Girls High School Wafaqi Colony and Government Boys High School Township respectively. The teachers Miss Naheed, Miss Anees and Mudassar Hussain addressed the ceremonies.
