OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE - South Asian Judo Championship begins on Tuesday (today) at Liaquat Gymnasium, said a press release issued by the Pakistan Judo Federation (PJF) here on Monday. Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka are the participating teams and the PJF is organising the event in collaboration with LXG Marketing. The players will compete in eight male (60, 66, 73, 81, 90, 100, above 100 and open weight) and six female (48, 52, 57, 63, 70, open weight and 100) weight categories. "We are thankful to Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) for assisting us with the championship venue," the PJF president Shujat Ali Rana was quoted as saying in the press release.
