DERA GHAZI KHAN - Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif has said that wealth of President Asif Ali Zardari will be brought back to country from the Switzerland banks with the help of public power and pressure. He said present government has broken all records of corruption and the masses are witnessing rampant corruption in every segment of the society. Addressing a big gathering at a model village Dhool Abreend in Union Council Jhoke Utra after handing over the keys of the houses to the flood-hit families, he said the countrys agriculture and the industrial fields are facing heavy losses due to the worst loadshedding. He said that 22 model villages have been constructed in Punjab with a cost of 1.5 billion rupees and announced to upgrade Kot Chutta as tehsil headquarters. Earlier, talking to the media after inaugurating the second phase of Watan Card, he said the country is passing through a critical juncture and pledged to render any sacrifice to safeguard the dear motherland. The chief minister said that 25,000 flood affected families of Dera Ghazi Khan will be provided financial aid of Rs 20,000 each through the Watan Card scheme in the second phase. He said the flood-hit families cannot be compensated through this minor amount but their hardships can be minimised. Chief Minister said he will again be visiting Dera Ghazi Khan after two to three weeks for the ground-breaking ceremony of the medical college while Rs 550 million has also been allocated for the construction of Ghazi Khan Medical College. He also awarded a cheque of Rs 0.5 million to Kareem Bakhsh - the father of nurse Asima Kanwal- who had died of dengue fever at Lahore, besides offering a job to the sister of the dengue victim.
