KARACHI - City Nazim Karachi Syed Mustafa Kamal has said that the people are best judges; they should themselves decide whether Altaf Hussain and workers of MQM have done something to solve the basic problems of citizens of Karachi or not. We did not want or believe in publicising our works. He expressed these views while addressing a huge public meeting at Dhoraji Colony after laying foundation stone of various development projects of water & sewerage lines and construction of roads in union council 1 of Gulshan Iqbal Town on the night intervening Sunday and Monday. The meeting was also addressed by Advisor of Chief Minister Sindh Zubair Motiwala, Town Nazim Gulshan Iqbal Wasey Jalil, MNA Abdul Rasheed Godel, Arshad Haroon Motiwala, Ismail Makda, Siraj Godel and other notables. Speaking on this occasion Nazim Karachi said that only one councillor of Haq Parast group was elected in this union council. However, despite of this, residents of this area admits that first time after 1968 lot of development works were completed Dhoraji Colony. He said that this is another example of impartial service, which we had been doing in all over the city under the policy of our leader and our party. City Nazim Karachi said that this is our duty to solve the problems of each and everyone living in Karachi, that is why we are doing development works on equal basis. Gulshan Town Nazim Wasey Jalil said that the construction of road network and water and sewerage works will complete by the end of September. He said that whatever works we have done here will cater for next 20 years requirements of this area. MNA Abdul Rasheed Godel and Zubair Motiwala also addressed the meeting and paid tribute to City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal for his extraordinary performance during last four years. They further said that the process of development should continue in Karachi as this would be beneficial for the whole country. The City Nazim was also presented with a shield on this occasion as an acknowledgement of best performance. Earlier thousand of residents of Dhoraji Colony greeted him when he arrived there.
