LAHORE - The 33rd KESC Cup National Boxing Championship will start from today (Tuesday) at the National Physical Training (NPT) Centre in Karsaz, Karachi. In the event, which will conclude on August 14, around 100 boxers from Army, PAF, Navy, Karachi Port Trust (KPT), KESC, Higher Education Commission (HEC), Railways, Rangers and the teams from all the four provinces will show their worth. The weigh-in session will be held from 8 am to 10 am on the opening day (Tuesday) while the bouts will start from 6 pm. An official of the Pakistan Boxing Federation added that the chief of KESC Naved Ismail will be the chief guest of the opening ceremony. President PBF Doda Khan Bhutto, vice president iqbal Hussain, secretary Muhammad Akram Khan and other PBF Officials will also be among the guests.
