Two days training workshop for primary school educators was concluded at Cluster Training and Support Center (CTSC) Govt Model High School here the other day.

CTSC Head Javed Ashraf Shooka said that the training schedule was issued by the Directorate of Staff Development.

He said that 110 male and female primary schoolteachers participated in the training workshop. Five District Teacher Educators (DTEs) including Jaffar Hussain Shah, Nasir Ali, Muhammad Shehzad, Muhammad Asif and Tariq Mehmood, imparted training.

Speaking on the occasion, DTE Jaffar Hussain said that training was started with recitation of verses from the Holy Quran followed by physical exercise of PSTs.

DTE Nasir Ali said that there were four sessions on daily basis - phonics, place value, mathematics and storytelling.

Last session was witnessed and observers by District Training and Support Center (DTSC) comprising Naazir Ali, Subject Specialist English and Sajid Ali Teacher (A&F), Educator Head Quarter.

They monitored activities of the PSTs and gave suggestions to improve the quality education in schools.
