LAHORE TheNation Editor-in-Chief and Nazria Pakistan Trust Chairman Majid Nizami has said that politicians have destroyed our homeland, which was achieved by Quadi-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Dr Muhammad Iqbal. He also said that America was trapping Pakistan with the help of India and Afghanistan and asked the countrymen to stand by the army since we are in a state of war against India and America. Anyhow, General Kayani has claimed that the army is ready and can confront any aggression, said Majid Nizami while addressing the Ideological training workshop of teachers, held at Aiwan-e-Karkunan-e-Tehreek-e-Pakistan under the aegis of Nazaria Pakistan Trust on Saturday. The workshop was attended by Assistant Education Officers from across the Punjab and teachers of Kids Public School in Fatehgarh. Prof Dr. Sarfraz Hussain Mirza, Prof Ghulam Sarwar Rana and others were also present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Majid Nizami said that the Muslim League has been divided into parts, and every politician has named it after his name. But I believe only in the Muslim League which was formed by the Quadi-e-Azam and Allama Muhammad Iqbal. Criticising the politicians, Nizami said they were not capable of running the country. But, he added, it does not mean the army should take over [the country] and enjoy power for ten years and allow the ill-reputed person like Pervez Musharraf to rule it. Nizami said that Musharraf was not even capable of becoming a citizen of Pakistan. Thank God that his regime is over. But unfortunately the present government is also not exemplary one. Mr. Zardari, who earned the reputation of Mr. 10 per cent, has become the President of our beloved country. Mr. Nizami said that Zardari was President of this country for the last four years but he could not arrest or detect the murderer(s) of Ms Benazir Bhutto. One can establish from delaying tactics of the President in the BB murder case who were the murderers and who was backing them. He said the Punjab government was paying special attention toward promotion of the education in the province. As per the Constitution, it was responsibility of the State to impart free education to children between ages 6 and 16 years. Education has become industry in our country and most of the owners of private colleges have established their own TV channels, and this reflects how much money they have earned from their business of education. Condition of our schools has become so poor that sometime on certain TV channels, I have watched kids getting education and animals grazing in the same compound of a school. Majid Nizami said, We have requested the Chief Minister repeatedly to include Nazria Pakistan and Tehreek-e-Pakistan in the syllabus of Class I to MA and then A-Level and O-Level.
