LAHORE – College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) Regional Director Prof Khalid Masood Gondal has said that joint convocation and scientific conference with Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons have helped bringing doctors from both the countries closer. 

Speaking at the concluding ceremony of workshop on Educational Planning and Evaluation (EPEV) at Regional Office of CPSP on Tuesday, he said that this initiative had also enhanced educational standing of CPSP fellows. Another workshop on Research Methodology, Biostatistics and Dissertation Writing for supervisors was also concluded on the same day.

Prof Khalid Masood Gondal said that CPSP had earned good name in the world due to selfless and sincere efforts of Prof Zafar Ullah Chaudhry, President CPSP. CPSP is taking steps for imparting quality education and training to its students, he said.

He said that demand of CPSP trained doctors has increased in Sauid Arabia, Ireland, Britain and other countries and Pakistani doctors were being hired on equal remuneration as offered to European doctors. The chief guest of the concluding ceremony Maj Gen (r) Abdul Hannan said that the degree of CPSP was recognised throughout the world. The workshop was attended by sixty supervisors. The participants thanked the administration for organizing such workshops which are beneficial for doctors.
