Former ambassador of Pakistan to the US, Hussain Haqqani Wednesday linked his return to Pakistan with assurance of foolproof security arrangements. “No one is safe in Pakistan and one could be burnt without any evidence then how I will return to the country with no security assurance ”, Haqqani said. According to a private TV channel, Hussain Haqqani said that he was facing life threats from militants, as he was portrayed as a rebel and not loyal to the country despite fact that he had not committed any crime. Accusing the Memo Commission for endangering his life by using inciting language in its report, Haqqani said that he was being questioned about his religious and political ideologies. The former ambassador is now a days serving in Boston University of the US as a Professor of International Relations (IR).
