KARACHI - Nights had mixed fortunes in T20 women’s triangular cricket championship now underway here at Southend club in the DHA neighbourhood.

The Nights lost to Strikers by eight wickets but in the next match defeated Lasers by 50 runs.  In the first match against Strikers, Nights scored 88 in allotted 20 overs but their opponents raced to the winning total in mere 15.5 overs taking the match by eight wickets. Nida Rashid hit unbeaten 53 to win player of the match award as her team, finished the contest at 89 for two. In the second match Nights batted well and scored 119 for eight. Lasers were bowled out for 69. Kanwal Naz took two for four.
