The black coats staged a demonstration against Burma, Bangladesh and India by burning the flags of these countries at Chowk Kutchehry Multan on Wednesday.

Dozens of lawyers assembled at the Chowk and burnt the effigies of Hasina Wajid, Nirendra Modi and Thein Sein. Holding placards and banners inscribed with appeals to the UN and international community to take notice of killings of Muslims in Burma and Indian confession to intervene in East Pakistan, the protesters shouted slogans against the three countries. The demo was led by Mehmood Ashraf Khan, the president of District Bar Multan, and Secretary General Khalid Masood.

They also burnt the flag of UN security Council for its mysterious silence on the killing of Muslims in Myanmar. The lawyers urged upon the government to raise this issue in security council and get register a case in international court against India for breaking the Pakistan as admitted by its Prime Minister.

AFFECTEES DEMAND COMPENSATION: The affected people of the Multan International Airport approach road project staged a demonstration against demolition of their houses without any notice.

They set on fire effigy Punjab Governor Rafiq Rajwana and Federal Minister Malik Sikandar Bosan. The protesters also tore the flex of PML-N displayed on the road and burnt tyres to block it. They shouted slogans against the federal minister, MPA Shehzad Maqbool Bhutta and officials of Multan Development Authority (MDA) for demolishing their dwellings without any notice. They demanded compensation and allotment of alternate land. They also staged a demonstration at Chowk Kutchehry followed by a sit-in at Chowk Nawan Shehr.
