Islamabad - Spokesperson Punjab Government, Muhammad Zaheem Qadri has said that the victory of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) in Gilgit-Baltistan election was a show of confidence in policies of the government by general public.

Talking to Radio Pakistan on Wednesday, Muhammad Zaheem Qadri said, “We are working for the public and this is the main reason behind the popularity of PML-N in GB.”

He added that the Pakistani nation is continuously showing its confidence on Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) by giving votes in Multan, Gilgit-Baltistan and Mandi Bahauddin.

Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) leader Dr Muhammad Khan said, “Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) is making progress positively under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.” He said the victory in polls is a trust of public in the PML-N.

The people of Gilgit-Baltistan have acknowledged the policies of PML-N as it had launched several developmental projects including China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) which is in favour of Gilgit-Baltistan and it would create new opportunities for the people of the province.

“Moreover, Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has initiated the development in tourism sector of Gilgit-Baltistan for generating foreign exchange through tourism sector. We have requested Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to resolve our issues of drinking water and health sector,” he added.
