The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Engineer Shaukatullah on Friday visited various parts of the Peshawar City and met with citizens especially traders.

The governor exchanged views with people and asked them to exercise the right of verdict with confidence and courage in the elections.

The people were very pleased to witness governor amongst them and talked to him in a frank manner. “I am here to realise that we all stand together and Inshaullah exercise the right of vote with peace of mind and satisfaction,” he remarked.  Tomorrow, the Governor said, will be the day of Election’s hustle bustle and also assured the government was sparing no effort to ensure peaceful and smooth conduct of its national responsibility.

Governor also highly eulogised the enthusiastic response and high spirit of citizens and hoped that they would fully participate and cast their votes in the elections.

Meanwhile, talking to representatives of media during his stop over at the Khyber Bazaar, Peshawar, the governor said that foolproof security arrangements had been made both in KPK and Fata to enable voters to exercise their right of verdict in an amicable atmosphere.

He also mentioned the visit of Chief Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kiyani to the provincial metropolitan the other day and said that indeed the role of Pak Army in making elections peaceful was very important.
