KARACHI - The Sindh government has delivered ownership documents to the inhabitants of Bismillah Colony Sector 11-G and 11-F North Karachi. Sindh Katchi Abadies Minister Engineer Muhammad Rafique awarded handed over the documents here at a ceremony on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the present government was implementing its manifesto by providing shelter to the shelter-less people. The government is providing a monthly stipend of Rs1,000 to poor women under the Benazir Bhutto Income Support Programme and the youths have been imparted skills under the programme besides a stipend of Rs4,000 to Rs6,000 per month under Benazir Youth Development Programme, he detailed. He said that the government had launched various public welfare-oriented programme included BISP, BBSDYP, shelter to the shelter less people, regularization of Karchi Abadies, as well as development works carried out in their respective areas for increasing their living standard and providing employment opportunities on priority. The minister described that various positive initiatives, would not be hampered due to terrorism and the present elected government with the support of the people had already taken concrete steps to further boost the economy. On the occasion, he announced that more abadies of the area included Gulshan-e-Mustafa, Essa Goth and Anwar Goths would get ownership rights very soon. He delivered 508 lease documents consisting of 7.5 acres land to the inhabitants and inaugurated the lease camp office, where from the other challans/documents will be given to inhabitants.
