LAHORE - Jamaat-ud-Dawa Ameer Hafiz Muhammad Saeed has urged the nation not to forget the flood-affected people on the occasion of Eid. More than 20 million people who lost all their belongings to the floods and were sitting under the open sky, had been looking for the help of their countrymen. So, do not turn your faces on them in this hour of trial, Hafiz said in his Eid message here Friday. The Dawa Chief said a huge amount was required for the rehabilitation of the flood victims. He appealed to the people to provide them help by every means. Same way, he said, innocent Kashmiris facing brutality at the hand of Indian troops in Held Valley, also needed to be remembered on the occasion of Eid. Hafiz Saeed said that the JD would spend Eid with flood affectees in helping and providing them food.
