LAHORE - Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Liaquat Baloch has said that the political crisis in the country was deepening due to the conduct and the attitude of the ruling parties. In a statement issued here Friday, he said the leadership of the ruling parties had not learnt a lesson from the vast flood devastation and the displacement of nearly twenty million people. Baloch however appreciated the stance of Mian Nawaz Sharif in the prevailing situation and hoped that the PML(N) would stick to that. He said there were serious threats to national independence and solidarity and the countrys economy had been ruined due to the floods. The US, India and their allies were gradually tightening their noose around the country. The situation demanded that national priorities were determined and a consensus was evolved at the national level.
