ISLAMABAD - Classic and Asif Memorial Clubs moved to the semi-finals of NBP-ICA Cricket League 2015 by winning back-to-back games in Super-8 round with Eleven-Star, Islamabad Hawks and Punjab Clubs were hopeful to qualify for the semis. Classic Club beat Al-Muslim and Hassan Memorial Clubs in almost one-sided games. Classic Club’s Sajawal Riaz hit unbeaten 110 to defeat Hassan Memorial by nine wickets. Izatullah hit 65. Najam Khattak grabbed 5-52. In its second game in Super-8 round at Bhutto ground, Asif Meorial beat Islamabad Hawks. Kashif Majeed hit 96 and Muntazir Mehdi 50. M Irfan and M Touseef claimed three wicket each. Punjab Club defeated Al-Muslim by 7 wickets here at Marghzar Ground. M Atif got 4-36. Shaharyar Awan hit 82. For Al-Muslim, Samiullah slammed 120. Islamabad Hawks beat National Club by 6 wickets. Zameer Abbasi and Farmanullah claimed three wickets each. Islamabad Hawks chased down National’s 177 by losing 4 wickets in 24.2 overs.
