Rawalpindi: Metro Shuttle Service (MSS) will be launched during Ramadan, to facilitate the commuters and make metro Rawalpindi-Islamabad metro bus service a success.

Sources said, new air conditioned buses and wagons are being purchased for MSS. Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif has given approval for completion of this project. The MSS which is going to be launched in Ramadan will start from different parts of Rawalpindi city, to metro bus stations. The MSS will be started from district Kutchery, airport, railway, Raja Bazaar and Pir Wadhai bus stands. Routes of public transport will be cancelled, with launching of MSS. Public transport is working on all the roués, which cross Murree road and due to which the traffic mess on Murree road intensifies. Over 1000 suzukis are ply on the routes from Raja Bazaar to Sadiq Abad, Khanna Pull, district Kutchery, Gharib Abad, Jhanda, Swan Pull and other areas. The Suzuki’s service will be suspended as soon as the shuttle service begins.
