Rawalpindi - A large number of traders of Bara Market gathered at Fawara Chowk on Thursday and strongly protested the ongoing atrocities against Muslims in Burma.

The protesters blocked the roads for vehicular movement by torching old tyres and chanted slogans against the international community for its criminal mum over suppression against Muslims in Burma. The protesters also chanted slogans against India and demanded of the government to kick out Indian ambassador from Pakistan.

Addressing the protesters, the speakers vehemently condemned the killings of Muslims in Burma. They asked the United Nations and other Muslim countries to come forward to stop Muslims genocide in Rohangiya. They said that being an atomic power, Pakistani government should also raise its voice against the killing of Muslims in Burma.

A heavy contingent of police also rushed to the protesting sight to maintain law and order situation. A gigantic traffic jam has been witnessed in Raja Bazaar and in its adjoining areas.
