LAHORE - Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Syed Munawar Hassan has said that Hillary Clintons statement regarding Osama Bin Laden was an insult to the Pakistan government, the nation and its armed forces. The US Secretary of State said in New York that there were people in the Pakistan government who knew the whereabouts of Al-Qaida chief Osama bin Laden and Afghan Taliban chief Mullah Omar. She further said We expect more cooperation to help us bring to justice, capture or kill who attacked us on 9/11. In a press statement issued here Tuesday, the JI chief stressed upon Islamabad to protest against Hilarys statements and also announce pulling out of this Crusade telling Washington that Enough is enough.He said former US President Bush had blamed Osama bin Laden for the 9/11 tragedy without any investigation and had announced that Osama would be captured soon, dead or alive. He said the US, despite its latest technology and resources, had failed to get hold of Osama bin Laden during the last nine years and was now putting the blame on Pakistan only to hide its shame. He said that Faisal Shahzads drama was also staged to intensify pressure on Islamabad. He said even if Faisal Shahzad was involved in the Time Square plot, there was no reason to blame Pakistan of an individuals act and issue threats on this count. Terming the threats from Washington as intolerable, he said the situation had reached this stage only because of the cowardice of the rulers. He said despite Islamabads all out support to Washington in the so called war on terror.
