LAHORE Chohan Estate beat Shan Ghee in Lahore Premier League match here at the New Ittefaq Cricket Club ground on Thursday. The Lahore Premier League (LPL) was postponed earlier due to heavy rain and later due to timing clash with the month of Ramazan, Inter-District Cricket, Under-19 Cricket and Quaid Trophy. It resumed on Thursday with match between Chohan Estate and Shan Ghee. Batting first, Shan Ghee scored 221 runs losing seven wickets. Idrees Mehmood (55), Muhammad Waqas (50) and Afzal Ali (31) were the main scorers for Shan Ghee. Zeeshan Mughal and Nauman Baig took two wickets each while Usman Rana got one. In reply, Chohan Estate achieved the target by losing only four wickets. Mohsin Rasheed (57), Abdul Majeed (54), Mujahid Ali (32) and Usman Rana (25) were the main contributors for Chohan Estate. Hassan Ali, Riazuddin and Khawaja Rohail took one wicket each. Lahore City Cricket Association Secretary Mian Javed Ali was the chief guest who later gave away man of the match award.
