KARACHI - Sindh government has declared public holiday on November 15 on the occasion of Urs of celebrated Sufi Poet Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai.

The announcement was made in a notification issued by Chief Secretary Sindh Siddique Memon.

It stated that the Government of Sindh has been pleased to declare 14th safar 1438 (A.H) on 15th November 2016 Tuesday as a Public Holiday throughout the Province of Sindh on the occasion of Urs of Hazrat Shah Abdul latif Bhitai (R.A) for all officers, Autonomous, Semi-Autonomous Bodies, Corporations and Local Councils under the Administrative Control of Government of Sindh, except essential services.
