TEHRAN (AFP) - Iran has arrested four members of a rebel Sunni group in the restive southeastern city of Zahedan, the ISNA news agency reported on Wednesday. Quoting the Iranian intelligence ministry, the agency said the four... belonging to the terrorist group of Abdolmalek Rigi, were arrested in Zahedan. It said the group planned to trigger divisions between Sunnis and Shias by bombing several locations, and that a large quantity of explosives and weapons were found in their hideout. The Sunni insurgent group Jundallah (Soldiers of God) headed by Rigi has claimed repeated attacks against government targets in Sistan-Balochestan province, which borders Afghanistan and Pakistan. The province, of which Zahedan is the capital, is home to a sizeable ethnic Balochi population.
