Jamaatud Dawa Ameer Hafiz Muhammad Saeed said that the US was fanning sectarianism in Pakistan in a bid to take revenge on the latter over the former’s defeat in Afghanistan.

He was talking to the media after offering prayers in absentia for a youth who embraced martyrdom in occupied Kashmir. The Jamaatud Dawa Ameer said that Jamaatud Dawa was working for unity of Muslim Ummah.

UOS TO BE PROMOTED: PRO to the SoU Vice Chancellor Dr Zahoorul Hassan said that latest medical facilities like angiography angioplasty and cardiac surgery would be provided soon at University Medical Teaching Hospital and a modern trauma centre would also be set up. He was talking to media persons at Sargodha Press Club. He said that 14 consultants were discharging their duties at University Diagnostic Centre and facilitating the local people. At the laboratory, various medical tests are conducted at subsidised charges, he said.

He further said that students are studying in 42 various departments of UoS while 248 PhD scholars, 186 M Phil and 352 MSc and medial students are also getting education.
