A married woman was gang raped after her abduction by three local politically influential accused in village Chiyaanwali-Satrah, Daska tehsil late at the other night.

Reportedly, three accused Aitzaz, Ibrar and Faisal, stated to be influential politically, abducted a married woman Tahira Kausar from her house in Gujranwala. They took her to a deserted Dera in village Chiyaanwali-Satrah, Daska tehsil here, where they gang raped her. However, the accused fled away after considering her dead due to her critical condition and threw her near the village’s fields. Locals spotted her and shifted to Daska Civil Hospital in critical condition. The Satrah Police have registered a case (No. 417/2013) on her report under section 376-II PPC with no arrest. Meanwhile, the aggrieved family has alleged that the Satrah Police were reluctant to arrest the politically-influential accused gang rapists, who were still at large in the village and threatening the family with dire consequences to keep them silent.

The family urged Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Punjab Inspector General of Police Khan Baig, RPO Gujranwala Region Saad Akhtar Bharwana and Sialkot DPO Muhammad Gohar Nafees to provide them with justice and security. They demanded early arrest of the gang rapists.

Meanwhile, in another incident, local private educational academy’s owner-turned-teacher accused Ahmed Sadique rapid his girl student (Identity withheld) while teaching her in the academy in village Aadha-Motra. The Motra Police have registered a case (No. 603/2-13) on her report under section 376 PPC against the accused.
