Faisalabad- Two sisters turned into brothers after successful surgeries, here at Madinah Teaching Hospital.

According to details, two sisters, 18-years old Shazia (student of 9th class) and 15-years old Mehnaz (student of 8th class), turned into Shahid and Ahmad respectively after successful surgeries by Prof Dr Muhammad Akram Malik, Head Department of Urology, at Madinah Teaching Hospital, The University of Faisalabad.

Mr Allah Ditta, father of girls, resident of a village near Multan city, a shopkeeper by profession, told that he had 6 daughters while no son. His two elder daughters Shazia and Mehnaz got sick and were taken to a local Hospital in Multan, where doctors referred them to Madinah Teaching Hospital (MTH). At MTH, after successful surgery by Dr Muhammad Akram Malik his daughters turned into sons.

The parents told that their joy knows no bounds as earlier they had six daughters and no son. Now, Allah Almighty has blessed them with two sons. They also thanked the administration of Madinah Teaching Hospital for their cooperation at surgeries and other treatment which was totally free of cost.

Dr Akram Malik told that Shahid and Ahmad are healthy. Dr Akram further said, during the last three years in Madinah Teaching Hospital, he had performed seven such surgeries successfully, resulting in six girls turned into boys and one boy turned into a girl.
