ISLAMABAD (INP) - President Asif Ali Zardari made a telephonic contact with MQM chief Altaf Hussain on Saturday to discuss current political situation. Presidential Spokesman Farhatullah Babar said that Sindh was focus of the talk between President Zardari and Altaf Hussain. He said the MQM chief assured Zardari, who is also co-chairman of the PPP, that his party would continue supporting the PPP-led governments at the Centre and in Sindh province and would be in the forefront to foil conspiracies against the democratic set up. Sources said that the matter of arrest of two suspected killers of Dr Imran Farooq by Pakistani security agencies was also discussed during the conversation.
