OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE A central leader of the PML-Q said here on Saturday the PML-Q leadership was in constant contact with PTI chief Imran Khan and his team members. Central Secretary Information Kamil Ali Agha was commenting on the popularity wave of the PTI. Mr Agha, who was talking to a joint TheNation, Nawai Waqt and Waqt News forum, held at Aiwan-i-Waqt, said, The PML-Q was the first political force which acknowledged the popularity wave of Imran Khan and the PTI. Agha said making Kashmir part of Pakistan was the demand of the people of Kashmir, while no trade should be initiated with India without settling the issue of water and Kashmir, says Kamil Ali Agha, central secretary information PML-Q. He expressed these views while talking to the joint forum of TheNation, Nawai Waqt and Waqt News held at Aiwan-i-Waqt on Saturday. The programme was conducted by Saifullah Sipra. He maintained that the process of advancing relations with India was started by PML-N chief, Nawaz Sharif and he pursued it even to the limits of ending the visa between the two countries. Kamil said, Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan, which is in the grip of India and it is also controlling our waters to destroy our agriculture and economy. Commenting over the popularity wave of PTI, he said, The PML-Q is the first political force which acknowledged the popularity wave of Imran Khan and the PTI. He said that the PML-Qs top leadership had held two meetings with Imran Khan in the recent past in which both the parties agreed to cooperate with each other over issue-based politics. Replying to a query regarding unification of all factions of Muslim League, he while claiming that PML-Q made several serious efforts in this direction said that Mr Majid Nizamis endeavors to unify all the Muslim Leagues were highly appreciating, as he has made sincere efforts in this regard like no one other. Kamil alleged PML-N chief, Nawaz Sharif for sabotaging the efforts of unifying all the Leagues by saying that Nawaz Sharif considers his faction of League as the real Muslim League and according to PML-N chief others Leaguers were not real. Responding to another question, he said that PML-Q joined the ruling coalition on four-point agenda, while the most important point was eliminating the energy crisis. About the Karachi situation, Kamil said that maintaining peace in the port city was the responsibility of every Pakistan, while it seems that stakeholders in Karachi have realized this fact.
