Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan Secretary General Liaquat Baloch has said that every soldier who sacrificed his life in the line of duty and safeguarding the motherland is admirable and his party considers him as martyr. Talking to media persons here on Tuesday, the JI stalwart said that Jamaat-e-Islami salute to and pay tribute to martyred soldiers who rendered the most precious thing 'life' for country and its people.

Commenting over the recent debate on the issue that who is 'shaheed' and who is not, he said that the issue was being politicized. Baloch claimed that such issues were being raised to appease the US and India and get their favour which should be avoided as it would harm the national interest.
