LAHORE - Pakistan cycling team will take part in Sharjah Tour International Cycle Race being held on November 21. “We will be fielding a six team member team comprising M Sabir, Nisar Ahmad, Zahid Gulfam (Wapda), Niamatullah and Habibullah (SSGC) and Ghulam Abbas (Army),” said Pakistan Cycling Federation (PCF) secretary Azhar Ali Shah here on Tuesday. He said three officials Nisrat Khan (manager) and Shafeeq Cheema (coach) and Javed Khan (mechanic) would accompany the team. “The selected team is currently undergoing training at a camp at Islamabad under the supervision of Nusrat who is hopeful that the team is capable of producing good results,” he added. He said altogether 20 countries would take part in the race which was going to be a tough event amid presence of worlds top riders.–Staff Reporter
