Most of our bureaucrats and technocrats have either forgotten or are reluctant to practice the very basics of good governance which is why every organisation in the country appears to be dysfunctional or defunct. One fails to derive self-discipline anywhere in our public sector organisations.

Our ruling class bureaucrats and technocrats are seen purchasing properties abroad and give nothing to the poor and needy. They open their purses for fun and frolic for unproductive activities and they are unwilling to spend even a single dime for the welfare of the people even from their native towns in many cases. How can our retired and repeatedly rehired lot practice basics of governance and promote the principles of good governance in the public sector?
