Police busted a cattle thieves’ gang and recovered several sacrificial animals from their possession.  The police received some complaints about thefts of sacrificial animals in the city areas. Taking notice, District Police Officer Dr Haider Ashraf directed the CIA staff to start raids for the arrest of thieves. The police team led by Inspector Razaullah busted the gang and arrested its four members including Khurram Shahzad of Kahotra Pind Dadan Khan, Nazir alias Shabbir Rajpoot of Hussainabad, Shakeel Rana and its ringleader Zakaullah alias Phool of Hussainabad.  During preliminary investigation, the suspects confessed to steal several goats from Muhammadi Colony, Istaqlalabad and adjacent areas.

The police recovered several goats and two illegal weapons from their possession.

CASE HEARING: Lahore High Court Justice Mazahir Ali Akbar will hear a case registered against former MPA Zobia Rabab and her husband Asim Malik.

The case had been registered against the couple for selling a 390-kanal land just on a power of attorney. Both the accused have fled abroad. The court had also summoned the district coordination and district police officers and Assistant Commissioner Bhera city.
