ISLAMABAD - The Pakistan Judo Federation (PJF) decided to introduce more events in the upcoming 6th Women National Judo Championship 2013 scheduled to be held in November at Lahore. This will be done for the first time in the history of women judo. Talking to The Nation, PJF secretary Masood Ahmad said: “The events are going to be organised to promote enhance women judo, through which the female participants will be able to get maximum chances to show their talents.” He said the PJF also decided to hold the First Inter-provincial Women Judo Championship 2013 and some more high profile events for them. The weight categories to be added in the championship include 40kg, 44kg, 48kg, 52kg, 57kg, 63kg and open weight category,” Masood concluded. –Staff Reporter
