LAHORE - The LCCI Senior Vice President Mian Tariq Misbah on Saturday said that innovation holds the key to success for young entrepreneurs therefore they should have an eye on global patterns while doing their businesses.

Mian Tariq Misbah was speaking at the inauguration ceremony of two-day Youth Entrepreneurial Hub Exhibition organized by the students of various institutions including Punjab University (PU) and Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) here at a local hotel. LCCI Executive Committee Member Muhammad Haroon also spoke on the occasion.

The LCCI Senior Vice President said that the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry was doing the needful for the upcoming entrepreurs through its Annual Business Plan Competition. He said that the students to focus on their studies as the country was in dire need on innovative entrepreneurs. He said that there was no dearth of resources in the country but only thing that has kept it behind in a number of economic sectors is the unawareness about the latest business techniques and methodologies.

He said that the Lahore Chamber would continue to patronize such exhibitions so that the industry, which is suffering because of lack of professionally skilled and competent people, could get tailor-made stuff. These competitions also help students to interact with premier bodies of the business community like Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

He said that the education was the only answer to multiple internal and external problems being faced by the country.

 He urged the students to prepare their projects and the LCCI would extend every possible cooperation.

The country is fortunate enough that more than 50 per cent of its population is below the age 25 and has the potential to change our destiny.

He said that was not it very strange that the countries which were far behind Pakistan only 50 years ago were now fast making their place in the comity of developed countries.
