The newsmen told the reporters that the doctors and the security guards of the hospital gave them a good thrash when they asked them that they were discharging their professional duty. Meanwhile, another team of senior newsmen led by Arif Hameed Bhatti and Asad Sahi reached the hospital and met MS Services Hospital Dr Javed and asked him to return the camera of the TV channel newsman and take action against the doctors and the security guards for thrashing the reporters. As they left the office, a team of doctors and security guards again attacked the senior journalists and subjected them to severe torture. Resultantly, Asad Sahi and his fellow sustained multiple injuries and were rushed to the Mayo Hospital Lahore. Scores of journalists later gathered at the Jail Road and protested against the rough attitude of the hospital management. MS Services Hospital Dr Javed claimed that the team of local TV channel attacked the hospital doctors and the employees when they were busy at their work.
