ISLAMABAD- Exhibition of specially designed Eid greeting cards is being started from today (Saturday) at Nomad Art Gallery for providing quality educational opportunities to the children of the poor families. A group of committed persons and Nomad Art Gallery are jointly organizing the demonstration for financially supporting school, situated in the outskirts of Islamabad. A group of committed persons from Pind Bhegwal, on the outskirts of Bara Kahu, Islamabad is running the House of Light School under the Horizon International Trust. Although the administration of school has established contacts with other NGOs and people that could be helpful for their school. However at present just 75 girls and boys were enrolled at the primary level and there is more room for the enrollment but the dearth of funds hampering the process. Raja Qasir, who is running this school, still need a financial help for effectively handling administration of his institute. He has taken photographs of Hunza Valley, Painted Crafts, historical buildings of Lahore and educational institutions of rural areas, which were given shape of Eid greeting cards by the Nomad Art Gallery. "We arrange this exhibition for collecting personal or official donation through purchasing beautifully designed cards, we designed these cards with photographs taken by Raja Qasir, who is struggling for providing same educational opportunities to the children of poor families as those of the wealthy families enjoys in the big cities ", Owner of the Nomad Art Gallery Nageen Hayat told TheNation here on Friday. She further maintained that these cards are not only speaks about diverse aspect of the Pakistani culture, but would provide an opportunity of supporting the important cause to assist educate girls and boys, who are future of our country. She informed that we are contacting many people for marketing and projection of cards. The administration of the school was of the view that the main problem that they are facing is funding, so they are looking forward to getting more sincere and strong support from outside. They said that we are looking for people and organizations that are willing to help us in our CSP (Child Support Program).
