KARACHI: Anti-terrorism court (ATC) adjourned the hearing of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Amir Khan’s exemption plea till August 15.

During the hearing, Rangers’ law officer told the court that accuser’s name is not in the list of Hajj pilgrims on which the counsel stated that his client is going to perform Hajj through private tour operator whose documents would be submitted in court on next hearing.

The justice remarked that if the Hajj application has been approved then the court can precede arguments over this matter.

The court adjourned the hearing till August 15.

It is pertinent to mention here that the MQM leader was arrested from Nine Zero during Rangers raid on March 11 for giving shelter to terrorists, target killers and suspects.
