Rawalpindi - Dozens of doctors registered their strong protest against Kasur child abuse case outside the Rawalpindi Press Club yesterday.

They demanded of the government to arrest all the culprits involved in the satanic act and award them hard punishment.

 A good numbers of doctors working in Allied Hospitals gathered outside press club under the leadership of President Pakistan Pediatric Association (PPA) Prof Dr. Rai Muhammad Asghar and staged a protest demonstration against the Kasur child sex scandal.

While holding placards in their hands, the irate protesters chanted slogans against the local politicians and police who overlooked the issue of heinous nature in Hussain Khan Wala Village where the beasts in human skin abused the innocent children.

“Silence over suppression is not acceptable”, “I need justice”, “award hard punishment to the beasts of Kasur child sex scandal,” “No excuse to child abuse”, “No mercy for innocent children molesters” were the slogans wrote on some placards held by the protestors, including female lady doctors.

Addressing the protestors, PPA President Prof. Dr Rai Muhammad Asghar condemned the brutality in Kasur and said this incident was very shameful.

“It earned bad name for an Islamic country Pakistan,” he said, adding that those who involved in the satanic act were the human terrorists. The government should show no mercy towards the culprits and award them very hard and cruel punishment,” he added. He said that the Punjab government was making all-out efforts to provide justice to the victims and their families.
